Centenary of ANZAC projects: The Red Cross Letters performance

The State Library of South Australia (SLSA) is honouring the memory of those who served at the front lines on World War 1 and on the home front, through a series of projects.

The Red Cross letters performance

The State Library partnered with the Word Adelaide festival and the State Theatre Company to produce The Red Cross Letters. The performance, based around 20 selected enquiry letters and the replies, was assembled and edited by Playwright Verity Laughton, and directed by Geordie Brookman from the State Theatre Company and featured music performed by Matthew Gregan, composed especially for this production. Performances occurred in August 2013 and August 2016.
